Fans maintain a love-hate relationship with Kevin Knight, but quite simply, he is the wrestler you love to hate. This cantankerous performer is a ruthless rouge with actions based on what is best for him. He is overly confident and displays a complete disregard for authority, as Knight is always looking out for number one. He's always scheming and plotting, and turmoil and controversy fill the air wherever he goes. His sarcastic wit and reckless manner often get him into predicaments that only his foolhardy courage can get him out of. Kevin keeps everyone off-kilter with his witty, outspoken, even abrasive remarks, but always gets the job done. As history proves, when Knight is right...tears are falling!

KEVIN KNIGHT WRESTLING CAREER BIO:

Kevin has competed across country since 1996 and periodically performs for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).  Knight debuted on May 19, 1996 against Rik Ratchet and feuded with him for three years.  Knight's full-time indy debut was for Dennis Coraluzzo's NWA-NJ on October 25, 1997, and was led to victory over Ratchet by WWE's Jim Cornette.  Is a four-time IWF Heavyweight Champion, former two-time IWF American Champion, and former IWF Tag Champion.  Kevin has been ranked annually since 1998 in Pro Wrestling Illustrated Magazine's Top 500 Wrestler List, including being ranked #416 in 2001, #347 in the 2000, #369 in 1999, and #483 in 1998.

On February 22, 2005, Knight served as a "police officer" with Kurt Angle to protect his Olympic Gold Medal on SmackDown from Philadelphia, PA.  On February 18, 2005, Knight competed in a practice match against WWE Champion JBL in Stamford, CT, to prep him for his match with The Big Show at No Way Out PPV.  In October 2004, Knight served as a "security guard" for Eric Bischoff on WWE Raw from Madison Square Garden in a brawl with Randy Orton, Ric Flair & Batista.  In March 2004 at WWE WrestleMania XX, Knight served as a "druid" during The Undertaker's ring enterance against Kane.  In the Fall of 2003, Knight appeared as the quarterback in the WWE "Survivor Series" football-themed television commercial.  In June 2003, Knight competed for WWE at Madison Square Garden wrestling A-Train in a TV match for Velocity.  Knight has been backstage on standby at various Raw and SmackDown TV tapings.  Knight competed for WWE in New London, CT, in December 1999 and January 2000, and served as a "security guard" for Vince McMahon on an April 1999 edition of Raw during the infamous episode when the Undertaker crucified Ryan Shamrock.  Knight holds a victory over former WWF Champion Bob Backlund in April 1999 in Pemberton, NJ. 

Countless media outlets interviewed Knight to seek his expert opinion on various wrestling topics including WCBS 2 News, Fox 5 Good Day New York, WABC Eyewitness News, WWOR 9 News, News 12 NJ, Telemundo 47, WMBC 63 News, EXTRA, Metro Channel and WOR Radio. Appeared in newspapers The Star-Ledger, The Record, Herald-News, Asbury Park Press and Home News-Tribune. Appeared on Fox News in 1999 discussing his moonlighting as a wrestler while serving as Mayor Garry Furnari's publicist with Township of Nutley.

Starred in several national TV commercials including Burger King TenderCrisp ‘Buckin Chicken’ ad in 2006, WWE Survivor Series in 2003, and locally for Bubba’s Place in 2001.

Personal: Graduated from Nutley High School, then studied communication at William Paterson University and worked at WPSC and WPC-TV as sports director and play-by-play announcer. Trained in sportscasting by legendary Spencer Ross of WFAN. In 1995-96, worked at WGHT as sports director, play-by-play man and co-star of ‘Gwyn and Kevin’ morning show. Worked for Nutley Parks Department as recreation leader and publicist from 1997-99.
